Man from Aylesbury arrested after fatal collision in Guildford kills pedestrian
Police urge public for information and footage related to the incident

A tragic incident in Guildford has led to the arrest of a 31-year-old man from Aylesbury following a fatal collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
The collision occurred on the southbound carriageway of the A3 (Guildford and Godalming Bypass) near Wilderness Road, shortly before 11.15 pm on 17th July.
Investigation and Appeal for Assistance
Regrettably, the 19-year-old pedestrian died at the scene, and his family has been informed.
The man arrested is suspected of causing death by careless driving and failing to stop at the scene of the collision.
A white DAF tanker has been seized as part of the investigation, which remains ongoing. Police are still seeking a large white van that may have witnessed the event.
