A petition to protect the Frimley Fuel Allotments from development has received over 14,000 signatures.
Last week, Frimley Health NHS Trust have announced they intend to build their new hospital on the Pine Ridge Golf course on the Frimley Fuel Allotments.
The petition was set up by the Heatherside Ward Residents Association.
The suggested site would mean people would have to go down Old Bisley Road and Chobham Road
Katherine Sargent - Secretary of the Heatherside Ward Residents Association told us she has serious concerns about accessibility as the area is already very busy
"It's insanely busy a lot of the time and then at school, top off and pick up, it's even busier. The locals just know to avoid it.
The people who live in the roads down there don't go out at that time of day unless they absolutely have to because it's just a nightmare."
Katherine told us she has no idea how the ambulances will cope
"I've got videos of ambulances trying to get through there at the moment. My partner said he recorded it for about a minute and a half, but he was there for about three or four minutes watching this ambulance trying to come up all the way up the road and just struggling to get through it, taking that long."
These concerns were echoed by Caroline Hibbard - Treasurer of the Heatherside Ward Residents Association
"You get a bus going in one direction, a lorry coming in another direction, cars parked all over the place, nobody wants to give way. You then add an ambulance on a blue light into the mix. It's just a recipe for disaster."
Local MP Al Pinkerton has described the site as "utterly inappropriate"
"How on earth can you realistically build an 800 bed hospital with A&E, with all of those ambulances that would need to get in and out on a site like this? My contention is you can't."
Frimley Health NHS Trust says it completed an extensive selection process and the site was the only suitable location and that feedback will help shape future proposals before any final decisions are made.
