Man in his 60s dies after collision with car in Guildford
Police appeal for footage and witnesses following fatal crash on A320
Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a fatal collision involving a pedestrian and a car in Guildford on 22nd December.
Officers were called at approximately 5pm to reports of the incident on the A320, Whitmoor Lane, Guildford.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the pedestrian, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigations underway
The road was closed for several hours as officers carried out investigations to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision.
The police are urging anyone who may have seen a pedestrian along the A320 around the time of the incident to come forward.
They are also requesting that people check any CCTV, dashcam, or helmet cam footage that may have captured part or all of the collision.
