Police launch appeal after pedestrian seriously injured in Farnham crash
A person and a car collided at the junction of Alma Lane and the A325 Farnborough Road in Upper Hale, Farnham at around 6.20pm yesterday
Police are asking for witnesses after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision in Farnham last night.
The crash, which involved a car and a pedestrian, happened at the junction of Alma Lane and the A325 Farnborough Road in Upper Hale, Farnham at around 6.20pm on Thursday, 8th January.
A temporary road closure was in place, but it was lifted shortly after midnight.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving, driving while unfit through drink or drugs, and driving a vehicle without insurance.
Police confirmed he has been released on bail.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Officers are asking people who may have been in the area between 6.15pm and 6.30pm to come forward if they witnessed the collision.
They are also asking for CCTV, dashcam, mobile phone or helmet camera footage that may show all or part of the incident.
