Two 17-year-olds arrested over drug supply offences

Two 17-year-olds were arrested after police found suspected Class A drugs and a machete-style knife during a vehicle stop in Farnborough.

Officers were patrolling on Tuesday 2nd December at around 11am when they noticed a vehicle travelling along Fernhill Road. The car was stopped in Blunden Road, where the occupants were detained.

Searches of the vehicle uncovered suspected Class A drugs, mobile phones, and a machete-style knife.

A 17-year-old boy from Portsmouth was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession of an offensive weapon, and drug driving. He was also arrested for using a motor vehicle without third-party insurance and driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

A second 17-year-old boy from Bognor Regis, West Sussex, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A, being concerned in the supply of cocaine, and possession of an offensive weapon.

Both teenagers have since been released on police bail with conditions while investigations continue.
