Three individuals have been arrested after police uncovered a cannabis factory at a residence on Maskell Way in Farnborough.

Acting on reports of suspicious behaviour, the local Neighbourhood Enforcement Team entered the property on 8th October, finding approximately 53 cannabis plants in various stages of growth and a substantial amount of harvested plants.

Those arrested include a 24-year-old from Farnborough, a 25-year-old from Staines-Upon-Thames, and a 32-year-old from Reading, all on suspicion of participating in the production of a Class B drug. They are currently in custody.

Authorities stress that the production of cannabis is often tied to organised crime groups, potentially involving serious violence and weapons.

The significant electrical demands for such activities pose severe fire risks, endangering nearby properties and lives.

Residents are urged to report any suspicious activity or suspected drug dealing, as their input is vital to tackling and dismantling operations linked to drugs.

Information about this particular incident can be reported to police, quoting reference 44260494674.
