Farnham Town attempting to make history
This afternoon (Saturday 11th) Farnham Town will play for a place in the first round proper of the F.A Cup
This afternoon (Saturday 11th), Farnham Town will play in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup for the prize of a place in the First Round Proper, as they take on Sutton United.
Farnham have already made history as this will be there first time ever playing in the fourth qualifying round of the tournament.
They take on Sutton United who play two leagues above them in the National League, meaning that Farnham can expect a tough game.
Farnham midfielder Kai Tanner says that despite the occasion, it's business as usual for the team.
"We haven't changed our build up our preparation at all compared to a normal league game. We're definitely excited, but as soon as that whistle goes at the beginning of the game, it is just it's business as usual and hopefully we do get the result."

Sutton have struggled this season in their league and sit in the relegation zone in the National League.
Tanner says that it's important not to take away credit where it's due, however, it their league position had been noticed by some players at the club.
"You don't want to take away credit where credit's due. But obviously we have looked at, looked at that story and they are in poor form where we're we're in good form. We've obviously off the back of back-to-back promotions and we're sitting in 4th in the table

Kai Tanner has some personal history with Sutton United as he played for them until August 2023 before re-joining Farnham, the club at which he rose through the academy at. He says that this match serves as a bittersweet moment for him.
"Obviously I want to get one over on them personally, but I I enjoyed my time there thoroughly. So it is, it is like bittersweet, but being a Farnham lad and playing for Farnham, if we did a get one over on them, I'd definitely give it a give it a good celebration."
Farnham Town say that they're expecting a crowd of around 2,000 people for the historic game at the Memorial Ground. Tanner says that the crowd getting behind the team it will give them a huge boost to best the National League side.
"It will be a tough game and if they get right behind us then as us as a 18 man squad and 2,000 fans backing us, there's no real reason why we can't we can't turn Sutton over."
Kick-off for the match is at 12:30 pm.
