Four individuals have been arrested after police discovered a substantial cannabis factory near Crondall early this morning.

Authorities executed a warrant at an address on Mill Lane, just off the A287 Farnham Road, at approximately 7am on Monday, 16th February.

Inside, officers found over 350 cannabis plants at various stages of growth.

The operation continued while colleagues from SSE ensured the electrical systems were secure.

Among those arrested were a 58-year-old man and a 32-year-old man, both from Crondall, and a 47-year-old man with no fixed abode.

They were taken into custody on suspicion of cultivating a cannabis plant, a Class B controlled drug.

A 59-year-old woman from Crondall was also arrested on suspicion of permitting or attempting production of a Class B controlled drug on her premises.

All individuals remain in custody as inquiries proceed.

Police emphasize that while some may view cannabis production as harmless, it is often linked to organized crime involving serious violence.
