Child seriously injured in collision on A24 in Dorking
The 11 year old was crossing the road when they came together with a car near to the Cockrel Roundabout
An 11-year-old pedestrian was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a car on the A24 in Dorking on Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred at around 1pm on 12 April between the Cockerel Roundabout and the North Holmwood Roundabout. Emergency services responded, and the child was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
Surrey Police confirmed that the driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating fully with the investigation.
“We are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam, helmet cam or CCTV footage from the area at the time,” a police spokesperson said.
