A coroner has concluded that Britain's Got Talent dancer Kerri-Anne Donaldson died by suicide following her arrest on suspicion of "child sex offending".

Donaldson, who was part of the dance group Kings and Queens that reached the semi-finals of the ITV show in 2014, was discovered dead at her home in Farnborough, Hampshire, on 7th June 2023.

The inquest held in Winchester revealed that the 38-year-old was initially arrested on 4th June and questioned at a police station regarding the alleged offence, which she denied.

After being reported missing, Donaldson was found at a hotel in Woking, Surrey, and admitted to St Peter's Hospital, Surrey, having overdosed.

She was placed under a "high risk care plan" on 5th June but was discharged on 6th June into the care of a home treatment team after being assessed as "settled."

Donaldson was found hanged at her home on the morning of 7th June.

Coroner Jason Pegg recorded the conclusion of suicide for her case.
