Arrests in Staines-upon-Thames stabbing as investigation continues
Four are now being held after the attack which left a teenager seriously injured
Two more individuals have been arrested in connection with a serious assault that took place in Staines-upon-Thames on Sunday evening.
Police responded to reports of a stabbing on Staines High Street at approximately 7.36pm on 8th March.
The victim, a teenage boy, was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains.
Four arrests have been made in relation to the incident.
The suspects include two 16-year-old boys and an 18-year-old man, who were detained on suspicion of attempted murder.
A 15-year-old girl has also been apprehended on suspicion of assisting an offender.
She has been released on bail, while the remaining suspects are held in police custody as investigations continue.
Authorities are appealing to the public for information and witnesses.
They ask anyone who was in the town centre between 6pm and 8.30pm on Sunday and may have seen or heard anything relevant to the investigation to come forward.
