Appeal for witnesses after Leatherhead sex assault

Officers have released a description of the suspect

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault by touching on a woman in Leatherhead.

The incident happened at around 7.05pm on 14 January at the Knoll Roundabout on the A24 Leatherhead bypass.

The male suspect is described as “white, in his early 30s, approximately 5 foot 6 inches tall and of a slim build with a straight face”.

He was wearing a black jacket with a hood up over his head and dark bottoms.

The man was described as “speaking with a non-English accent and appeared unsteady on his feet”.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious or have any dashcam footage that may be relevant is asked to call 101, quoting PR/45210004465.
