Appeal after 13-year-old girl reports alleged sexual assault incident in Aldershot
The incident is said to have happened on Lower Farnham Road near the junction with Herrett Street on Friday morning
Police are appealing for witnesses after a report of a sexual assault in Aldershot.
Officers say a 13-year-old girl was approached by a man driving a black car on Lower Farnham Road near the junction with Herrett Street on Friday morning (10 July).
The incident is said to have taken place between 9am and 10am.
It was reported that the young girl was repeatedly asked where she was going by the man, before he allegedly got out the car and touched her leg.
Police say the girl pushed the man away and fled the scene to get help from a nearby member of the public.
Witnesses, dash-cam footage holders, or anyone who saw a black car in the area at the time of the incident are being urged to contact police.
