Aldershot Town heading to Wembley for first time after FA Trophy win over rivals Woking
There was plenty of drama.
Aldershot Town have made history and are going to Wembley to play Spennymoor Town in the FA Trophy final.
The Shots beat their fierce rivals Woking 2-1 with a crowd of over 7,000 in attendance.
Tyler Frost had a great chance to open the scoring but saw his penalty saved with the scores level at the break.
Woking broke the deadlock and scored the opener with Lewis Walker heading in at the far-post.
Aldershot got another penalty and this time it was James Henry who kept his cool to draw the scores level.
In added-time and with penalties looming Aldershot stormed into the lead, Jack Barham with the important header to send the home fans wild as they know in just over a month they have the chance to win the FA Trophy.
