13-year-old boy dies in three-vehicle crash in Bletchingley

A 13-year-old boy has died following a serious crash in Bletchingley.

Emergency services were called to reports of a three-vehicle collision on the A25 towards Godstone at around 8:10pm on Monday (21st April)

The front seat passenger of one of the vehicles, a 13-year-old boy, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to hospital and is in a serious but stable condition.

The driver of the second vehicle was taken to hospital with an arm injury.

The occupant of the third vehicle suffered minor injuries.

The road was shut for several hours whilst emergency services, including the air ambulance, dealt with the incident.

An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
