Man dies following Wortwell crash
A second man's in a life threatening condition in hospital
A man's died following a crash in Waveney.
It happened on the A143 Bungay Road in Wortwell, at 10.25pm on Monday (20 January 2025), when a white Seat Ibiza collided with a black Mercedes-Benz EQA.
The driver of the Seat, a man in his 20s, died at the scene.
The driver of the Mercedes, a man aged in his 40s, was airlifted to Addenbrookes in a life-threatening condition.
A full road closure was in place for around 14 hours whilst emergency services were on the scene.
The road reopened at around 12.40pm yesterday (Tuesday 21 January 2025).
Police say they'd like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the crash or the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the incident.
