Teenage girl and 19-year-old injured in three-vehicle collision near Bury St Edmunds

Police are appealing for information following a serious three-vehicle collision on the B1106 in Wordwell near Bury St Edmunds this morning.

At 9:55 am today (30th January), officers responded to reports of a crash involving a grey Nissan X-Trail, a silver Renault Trafic van, and a blue Suzuki motorcycle.

Emergency services, including the ambulance service and air ambulance, treated two individuals who suffered serious injuries.

A teenage girl was taken to hospital by air ambulance, while a 19-year-old man was transported by land ambulance.

The road remains closed as investigations into the incident are underway.

Officers are asking witnesses to come forward, particularly drivers who were in the area at the time of the collision and have dashcam footage that might assist with their investigation.
