Woman charged after fatal collision in Brandon
Two people tragically lost their lives in the incident on B1106
A woman has been charged following a fatal two-vehicle collision on the B1106 in Brandon that claimed the lives of a married couple earlier this year.
Officers were called to the scene at around 5.40pm on 15th April 2023 after reports of a collision involving a Nissan Note and a Jeep Cherokee.
The driver and passenger in the Nissan, identified as 43-year-old Dilipan Sebastiampillai and 41-year-old Dorota Sebastiampillai from Haringey, London, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Jasmine Dessaure, aged 36 and of Linden Walk, Beck Row, has now been charged with two counts of causing death by careless driving. She was charged on Thursday, 18th December.
Dessaure has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court on Friday, 19th December.
