Witnesses sought after man reportedly suffers racially aggravated harassment in Lowestoft

Police are asking for witnesses to come forward following reports of racially aggravated harassment at Gateway Retail Park in Lowestoft.

The incident, which took place around 1.25pm on Sunday 21st December, involved a man in his 20s who approached the owner of a grey Skoda Octavia parked in a disabled bay, allegedly without displaying a badge.

According to police, the owner of the vehicle then shouted obscenities at the man and reportedly used racially aggravated language to cause intentional harassment, alarm, and distress.

Officers have said they are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who might have other relevant information.
