Police investigating unexplained death in Southwold
Police were called to Southwold Caravan and Camping Site reporting a suspected medical incident
Suffolk Police are appealing for witnesses following the death of a woman in Southwold.
Police were called to Southwold Caravan and Camping Site on Ferry Road at 2:10pm on Saturday 22 August by the ambulance service, reporting a suspected medical incident.
A 34-year-old woman was reported to have been found unresponsive inside a tent by a man with whom she had been camping.
Ambulance crew, including air ambulance, attended the scene but sadly the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained and officers are conducting enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw a man and a woman camping in the days leading up to the weekend who have not yet spoken to police.
