Chorus Intelligence Ltd, a company based in Suffolk, has been honoured in this year's King's Awards for Enterprise, joining nearly 200 other businesses in recognition of exceptional achievements across UK industry.

The awards, marking their 60th anniversary since inception in 1966, celebrate innovation and contribution to economic growth, with a total of 186 recipients announced this year. The King’s Awards for Enterprise are renowned as the most prestigious business awards in the United Kingdom.

A significant addition to this milestone year is the introduction of a new category: The King’s Award for Enterprise – Young Founder, aiming to highlight founders aged 18 to 30 who are successfully leading their businesses and creating impactful growth.

Awards have been distributed across various sectors including International Trade, Innovation, Sustainability, and Promoting Opportunity through social mobility. Notably, 164 awards were given to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with 24 of those being micro-businesses.

Blair McDougall, Minister for Small Businesses and Economic Transformation, applauded the recipients, saying: “A huge congratulations to every business receiving awards this year, who once again have illustrated the best of British innovation and talent. These awards show that right across the UK, there are small businesses that are thriving, growing and succeeding and it’s only right that we champion these successes.”

This year’s awards continue the legacy of recognising outstanding UK businesses, formerly known as The Queen's Awards for Enterprise, renamed to reflect His Majesty The King’s commitment to honouring British enterprise.

Recipients have undergone a rigorous assessment process judged by experts from various fields, with recommendations made by the Prime Minister and approved by His Majesty The King.

Applications for The King’s Awards for Enterprise 2027 will open on 6th May 2026, and eligible businesses are encouraged to apply across multiple categories.
