Man breaks out of prison in Suffolk

Police are searching for a man who has absconded from Hollesley Bay open prison.

David Longhor, who's 24-years-old, is serving a 56 month sentence for possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Police say he was reported missing on Sunday morning (21st September) at 11.50am after he was absent from roll call.

A Suffolk police spokesperson said: "He is described as black, approximately 1.7m (5ft 7ins) tall, of medium build, with black hair and was wearing a grey tracksuit.

"Anyone who believes they have seen Longhor or who has any information regarding his whereabouts, is asked to contact Suffolk police on 101, quoting CAD reference 123 of 21 September."
