Three arrested after teenager stabbed in Stowmarket
Officers are investigating the assault near Finborough Road
A teenage boy is in hospital after a stabbing at a recreation ground in Stowmarket.
Emergency services were called out to Finborough Road at around 8:30pm on Tuesday (21 April).
According to reports, three individuals approached the victim before fleeing on foot.
The boy received immediate care from police, ambulance, and air ambulance personnel before being escorted to hospital for further treatment.
Suffolk Police say following enquiries three teenagers, an 18 year old man, a 17 year old boy and a 16 year old boy, were found at Stowmarket train station and arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.
Officers will be undertaking additional uniformed patrols in the area to provide reassurance to the local community.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact police and this includes anyone driving in the area around the time that may have dash camera footage.
