Teenager racially abused outside Lowestoft train station

Police are appealing for any witnesses of the incident on Wednesday (5th February).

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was racially abused by the Lowestoft seafront.

An 18-year-old boy was walking along Station Square- just outside the railway station- on Wednesday (5th February) at 7:55pm with two friends when they were surrounded by a group of young people.

The group removed his hat, hit him in the face, and racially abused him.

Any witnesses of the racially aggravated assault are urged to get in contact with police.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lowestoft Response Investigation Team, quoting reference: 37/6793/25.
