Suffolk Police is carrying out searches around the River Orwell and the surrounding coastline in Ipswich - following reports of a missing man from Framlingham.

43-year-old Edward Osborne was last heard from around 5:30pm yesterday evening (14th January) and was reported missing later that evening.

The force believe he was driving his car, a blue Skoda (registration CX11 ZDP) in the area.

It's being assisted in its searches by the Coastguard and Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue (SulSAR).

Police describe Edward as white, approximately 6ft tall, of slim build with a large tattoo of a raven bird on his upper right arm.

He is believed to be wearing a blue padded coat, a black hoody with orange writing on the front, blue jeans, black and white converse-style trainers, and a black woollen hat.

Anyone who's seen Edward or may know where he is is being urged to contact the force.
