Police in Suffolk are investigating whether a vehicle may have been involved after a cyclist was found with serious injuries on the A1120 near Stowupland late on Friday night.
Officers were called to the scene at 11.15pm on Friday 16 May following reports that a man had fallen from his bicycle on the A1120.
The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to Ipswich Hospital before being transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. His injuries are considered potentially life-changing, but he is currently in a stable condition.
Police are investigating whether another vehicle may have been involved in the incident.
A spokesperson for Suffolk Police said: “We are asking for any witnesses who may have seen the incident or have relevant dashcam footage to come forward. At this stage, we are trying to establish the full circumstances, including whether a vehicle may have struck the cyclist.”
Anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the incident and has a dashcam is asked to review their footage for anything that might help the investigation.
