A teenage motorcyclist has sustained potentially life-threatening injuries following a collision with a lorry in Great Waldingfield.

Police are calling for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage related to the incident to come forward.

The collision occurred near Badley Road on Upsher Green just after 10:05am on Wednesday, 19th August.

Suffolk Police's full statement reads:

"Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision in Great Waldingfield.

"Officers were called by the ambulance service to Upsher Green just after 10:05am yesterday, Wednesday 19 August, following a collision between a white Honda motorbike and a white lorry near Badley Road.

"The road was blocked as emergency services attended the incident.

"The motorcyclist, a teenage boy, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by air ambulance having sustained potentially life-threatening injuries.

"Witnesses to the collision or anyone with dashcam footage are asked to contact the Roads & Armed Policing team at Suffolk Police, quoting reference 37/49211/26 "
