Police arrest five people after stabbing in Ipswich
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital having been stabbed at an address in Birkfield Drive.
At 7.41pm on Saturday 5th of September, Police were called out to a property on Birkfield Drive by the ambulance service to a report of a person having been stabbed.
The incident had reportedly taken place around 10 minutes before.
A man aged in his 30s was taken to hospital for treatment to a stab wound. He has since been discharged.
Officers arrested five people that evening in connection with the incident.
• 29-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault (GBH) and possession of Class A drugs. He was taken to Bury St Edmunds PIC and bailed to return to police on the 4th of November.
• 20-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault (GBH). He was taken to Martlesham PIC. He's bailed to return to police on the 4th of November.
• 22-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault (GBH) and theft. Taken to Martlesham PIC. Bailed to return to police on the 9th of September.
• 15-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of assault (GBH). He was taken to Bury St Edmunds PIC and bailed to return to police on the 4th of November.
• 53-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault (GBH). He was taken to Martlesham PIC. He was also further arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs. Bailed to return to police on the 4th of November.
