Three charged for shoplifting in Newmarket

They stole from a variety of businesses in the town

Three people have recently been arrested, remanded and charged with various shoplifting offences in Newmarket.

Stuart Hornsey, 37, was charged with two accounts of burglary with intent to steal from entering Tesco Express in the High Street on 11th and 12th October. He has been bailed to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court on 26th November.

Simon Scott, 60, has been remanded in custody by Ipswich Magistrates until a hearing on 7th November. He is charged with two counts of attempted theft of alcohol from MDs grocery store (12th October) and Tesco Express (16th October).

Scott is also charged with theft of alcohol from All Saints News & Wine on 14th October and theft of alcohol from Tesco Express on 2nd September. In addition, he faces a charge of theft of alcohol from Tesco Express on 14th October.

Albano Droma, 34, has been charged with theft of various retail and cosmetic goods from Boots on 24th October. Droma was remanded on bail by Ipswich Magistrates on this charge - and another charge of theft from Boots in Brightlingsea, Essex, on 10th June - until his next court appearance on 26th November.
