Air fryer catches alight causing Newmarket kitchen fire

An air fryer's caused a kitchen fire in Newmarket.

It happened yesterday around 1:45pm (Sunday 27th April), with the fire believed to have spread throughout the kirtchen.

Five fire engines from Newmarket, Mildenhall, Orford and Ipswich East helped tackle the blaze.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service tells us there were no casualties and the incident was declared closed at 3:20pm.
