Man fighting for his life after stabbing in Bury St Edmunds
Suffolk Police say five men in dark clothing and face coverings ran from the scene
A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following an attack in Bury St Edmunds.
Suffolk Police were called to Mortimer Road just before 10.15pm on Sunday (22 March), where a man was found with stab wounds.
The victim was taken to hospital, and authorities have described his condition as life-threatening.
Police say five male suspects wearing dark clothing and face coverings were seen fleeing the scene.
A police cordon remains in place, and officers are conducting additional patrols in the area to provide reassurance to the community.
Detectives are asking for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
They are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have been driving in the area at the time and has dash camera footage.
