Man jailed for exposing himself to teenage girls in Suffolk
Stephen Caine (57) has also been found guilty of sexual assault
A man from Sudbury, who assaulted two teenage girls and exposed himself in front of them, has been jailed for 18 months.
Steven Caine (57), of Hardy Court, had denied the charges at Ipswich Crown Court - but was found guilty by a jury after three days on trial.
He appeared again at the same court on Monday 11 May, where he was sentenced to 18 months in prison.
The court heard how he approached the two teenagers in a residential area of Great Cornard on 27 September 2025.
After asking them for directions, he made inappropriate comments, exposed himself, then kissed one girl before touching the second girl's breasts.
He was found to be in breach of a suspended prison sentence imposed last year for threatening behaviour.
Caine has also been made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order for ten years.
DC Chloe Braybrook, from Suffolk Police, said: “Caine’s actions were not only concerning but predatory.
“I would like to commend the girls for their bravery in reporting the incident to police and would ask anyone who has encountered similar experiences to speak to the police.
“If you have been a victim of sexual offending in any form, please do report this to us. We take these incidents extremely seriously and will listen and support you.”
