A man in his 50s has died following a crash in Thurston.
Emergency services were called just before 7am yesterday (11th January), to reports of a single-vehicle collision involving a Volkswagen Golf on Hollow Lane.
The man, who was driving the car and its only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have informed his next of kin and a file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.
The road was closed for several hours, but it has since reopened.
