Lowestoft Town's match against Telford had to be suspended for a time yesterday after goalkeeper Warren Burwood suffered head injuries in a collision during the match.

It happened during the first half of the match at the SEAH Stadium and he had to be treated for a deep and long cut.

The club says he didn't lose consciousness and was treated by medics before being transferred to Telford's Princess Royal Hospital.

The Trawlerboys say he remains in hospital with members of the club by his side as he awaits for scans, but remains alert.
