“It’s an exciting time for me"
“It’s an exciting time for me and I am ready to embrace a new challenge,” Alex told TownTV.
“I’ve come here with one aim and that’s to help the Club.”
Alex will wear the number 31 shirt during his time at Town.
Somto Boniface joins the Blues
It was a busy end to the winter transfer window for the Blues, who've also signed young defender Somto Boniface from Chelsea.
The left-back came through the youth system at Stamford Bridge and featured twice for Chelsea’s U21s in the EFL Trophy earlier this season.
Somto, who's 18, has also represented England at various age-group levels prior to joining Town, where he will continue his development.
He could make his first appearance in an Ipswich shirt when John McGreal’s U21s face Bristol City at Playford Road next week.
