Third arrest made in connection with inmate's death at Highpoint Prison

Suffolk police have arrested a third suspect in relation to the death of Krishan Rawal, a 28-year-old inmate at Highpoint Prison in Stradishall.
Detectives responded to Addenbrookes’ Hospital on Tuesday, 27th January after Rawal's passing.
Rawal, from London, sustained a wound to his right armpit from an attack by another prisoner, initially receiving hospital treatment on 23rd January before briefly returning to HMP Highpoint.
He was readmitted to the hospital where he later died.
A Home Office post-mortem was conducted on 30th January with the cause of death still under investigation.
Three inmates have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
The first arrest was made on 30th January, involving a man in his 20s.
A second suspect, a man in his 30s, was apprehended on 3rd February.
On 5th February, a third man in his 20s was taken into custody.
All three suspects were interviewed at Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre before being returned to prison custody pending further inquiries.
