Fresh appeal after cyclist injured in Ipswich

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was injured in a crash in Ipswich.

Officers were called to St Margaret’s Plain at around 8.25pm on 23 December by ambulance crews.

A large black 4x4 truck was in collision with a male cyclist near to the junction with Soane Street. The driver of the 4x4 failed to stop at the scene.

The cyclist suffered significant facial and head injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Anyone who saw the collision, or has dash cam footage, is urged to contact Suffolk Police.
