Six people were taken to hospital after a car left the road near the Port of Felixstowe on Sunday 19th October.

Emergency services were called to the scene at the McDonalds roundabout at the A14 and Walton Avenue at around 5.30pm.

Police said a silver Audi A5 coupe was travelling eastbound along the A14 onto the Dock Spur road ahead of the crash, which happened close to the major port in Felixstowe.

The driver and five passengers were all injured and taken to hospital following the crash.

The eastbound carriageway was closed for several hours and did not reopen until 11.25pm.

Officers from Suffolk Police’s Roads and Armed Policing Team are looking for anyone who witnessed the crash or may have dashcam footage of the vehicle or crash itself.

They also want to speak to anyone who saw the silver Audi A5 coupe before the collision, travelling eastbound along the A14 towards the Dock Spur road.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Suffolk Police’s Roads and Armed Policing Team and quote reference 37/59638/25.
