Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was found with serious injuries in Felixstowe.

It happened some time between 4.50am and 5.15am yesterday morning, Tuesday 4 February, in Grange Farm Avenue.

A woman in her 40s was found on the pavement next to the roundabout for Morrison’s supermarket.

She was taken to hospital for treatment, where it was found that she had a fractured arm and cuts to her head.

The woman does not have any recollection of how she came off her bike and although there currently isn’t any evidence of a collision or any third-party involvement, officers are appealing for any potential witnesses that may be able to assist enquiries.

They'd also like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage that may be useful.
