Cyclist hurt in road rage incident in Kelsale
Suffolk Police say a driver headbutted the cyclist at the junction of Lodge Farm, Kelsale and the A12.
Police are appealing for information after a cyclist was injured in a road rage incident at Kelsale.
Suffolk Police say it happened between 5pm and 5.10pm on Thursday 23 April at the junction between the driveway to Lodge Farm, Kelsale, and the A12, opposite to the Kelsale solar farm site and Town Farm Lane.
The male cyclist indicated to a driver coming the other way to slow down. The driver stopped, ran over the victim’s bike, got out of his car and headbutted him. The victim required five stitches.
The motorist then removed his number plates, drove at the victim and then left the scene northbound along the A12.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has dashcam footage or other information.
