Cyclist in his 50s dies after crash with lorry near Bungay

A man in his 50s has died following a collision involving a lorry and a bicycle on the A144 at Ilketshall St John near Bungay.

Police were alerted by the ambulance service at 5:18 am on Friday, 6th February, about the incident.

Emergency services attended, but the cyclist was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

The affected road remained closed for several hours as police conducted enquiries and emergency services managed the situation, fully reopening at 2:32 pm.
