Crews tackle blaze between Chilton Street and Clare

Fire crews tackled a blaze yesterday between Chilton Street and Clare - with around 100 acres of crops and fields set alight.
The fire was brought under control with help from farm machinery.
Suffolk council stated:
"Crews are on site after reports of a significant fire between Chilton Street and Clare.
Crews arrived to find approx 100 acres of standing crop and stubble affecting multiple fields well alight.
A fire break has been established using farm machinery.
Multiple hose reel jets are in use alongside farm machinery.
The incident was closed at 6:38pm."
