Police seek dashcam footage and witnesses following incident

A tragic collision on the A14 near Bury St Edmunds has resulted in the death of a pedestrian in his 70s.
The incident occurred on the eastbound carriageway early Thursday morning, 7th May, with police receiving reports at 2:26 am of a collision between a lorry and the pedestrian.
Emergency services arrived promptly, but the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The A14 remains closed eastbound between Junction 43 and 44.
Police are appealing for witnesses, particularly motorists driving in the area during the incident, to check any dashcam footage for potentially useful information.
