Body found in Kessingland during search for missing 17-year-old

A teenage boy's body has been discovered in Kessingland during a search operation for a missing 17-year-old named Taryn Ellis-Allen.

Teams from the police and Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue (SulSAR) were conducting searches in the village yesterday afternoon, Tuesday 18th August.

The body was found in woodland off Francis Road.

Taryn was last seen on Field Lane at 3:30pm on Monday, 17th August.

Although formal identification has not yet been carried out, Taryn’s family has been informed of the discovery.

The death is not being treated as suspicious, and authorities will prepare a file for the Coroner in due course.
