Body found in search for missing man

The body of a man has been found in Culford following searches for a missing person.

Teams from the police and Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue were conducting searches in woodland between West Stow and Culford yesterday, (Sunday 9 November) when they discovered the body of a man.

Although formal identification procedures have not yet taken place, the man is believed to be Andrew Harrington from Bury St Edmunds, who had been reported missing on Friday 7 November.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the Coroner.
