Arrest made after two pedestrians injured in crash outside Ipswich restaurant
Witnesses are urged to come forward.

A man has been arrested after a collision in Ipswich at the weekend where two pedestrians were injured.
Police were called at just after 4.15pm on Saturday 25 January to reports of the incident in St Matthews Street, just prior to the roundabout junction with Civic Drive.
A grey Vauxhall Astra was reported to have mounted the pavement and collided with two pedestrians and then drove off from the scene without stopping.
Ambulance crews were also in attendance and the two pedestrians, who are both women, were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries. One of the victims has sustained a head injury and some bone fractures, but the injuries are not deemed to be life-changing.
Yesterday afternoon, Sunday 26 January, officers arrested a 43-year-old man from Ipswich on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving; failing to stop after an accident; driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence; and driving without insurance.
He was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and was subsequently released under investigation pending further enquiries.
The suspect vehicle has also been located and seized by police.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and asking any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
