Appeal after motorcyclist seriously injured following collision in Nedging Tye

The 19-year-old rider was airlifted to Addenbrookes Hospital following the one-vehicle collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a single-vehicle collision in Nedging Tye.

The incident happened on the B1078 Ipswich Road just after 7pm on Tuesday 21 July.

The 19-year-old male rider was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital by air ambulance.

Ipswich Road was reopened at 1:40am following a temporary closure.

Anyone who witnessed the event, or holds dashcam footage, is being urged to contact police.
