More Underdogs looking for their forever families
Can you help Ken find these pups a home?
Last updated 17th Feb 2026
Always an advocate of the Underdog, Ken Bruce is on a mission to help Dogs Trust find forever homes for their paw-some pups.
Ken’s already introduced his first Underdogs to the world and we’re all rooting for these hounds to find their happy place in a new home.
But there are still thousands of dogs at Dogs Trust rehoming centres across the country, waiting patiently to find their forever families. Here are just some of the dogs we’d love to help!
Ken’s Underdogs
Name: Woody
Breed: Poodle (Miniature) Cross
Location: Shoreham (Sussex)
Woody is a small dog, with a larger-than-life character. At 12, don’t let Woody’s age fool you, he has plenty energy and loves to keep busy! When he’s not showing off all his amazing tricks to his favourite people, Woody enjoys playing a game of tug or fetch with a cuddly toy or sniffing about on adventures. He’s an excellent traveller in the car, which will be a great benefit to his future family. It may take some time and patience before you’ve earned Woody’s trust, but getting to know this cheeky chap will be well worth your wait. This sensitive boy may never be a cuddly lap dog, but you’ll have secured a best buddy for life with Woody.

Name: Toby
Breed: Collie (Border) Cross
Location: Liverpool
Toby is a sweet boy who had a rocky start to life after being illegally smuggled in to the UK from Eastern Europe. Toby loves long walks and is well behaved on his lead, and he loves to take plenty time to sniff about and see what's been happening. One of his favourite things is sunbathing and he adores the beach, just not the sea! Food is Toby's biggest motivator and it's a great way to build a bond with him, but he has helped himself to things on the counter before now!

Name: Harry
Breed: Retriever (Labrador) Cross
Location: Shrewsbury (Shropshire)
Harry is a sweet, soulful five-year-old crossbreed who fills every room with warmth and gentle charm. He adores relaxing snuggles on the sofa, especially when he can curl up next to his humans for a cozy TV session — The Great British Bake Off is a particular favourite! Harry would thrive in a home where life moves at a gentler pace; imagine countryside strolls, the scent of fresh air, and quiet, peaceful evenings. He’s a sensitive, thoughtful boy who blossoms in calm surroundings and thrives on routine. With patience, understanding, and a little guidance in continuing his training, Harry will reward you with unwavering loyalty, gentle companionship, and endless love.

Name: Dexter
Breed: German Shepherd Dog Cross
Location: Evesham (Worcestershire)
Dexter is a five-year-old Shepherd/Lab Cross. He’s a sweet lad who loves to play with toys and have a fuss from his handlers. He came into Dogs Trust's care after being found as a stray so one of their staff took him for a little holiday to see how he’d get on in a home. Dexter exceeded all expectations! He wanted to explore lots and investigate every area, but settled down and loved nothing more than snuggling up on the sofa. He’s happy to be left home alone for a couple of hours, is fully housetrained and good in the car too. Dexter is super-clever and is just looking for a family to give him a chance to show what a superstar he is.
