A woman's suffered seriou burns after a tent fire in Stoke-on-Trent.
Emergency crews were called around midday yesterday to New Hall Street in Hanley following reports of a tent on fire in the area.
A woman had suffered extensive burns to her arms and legs.
She was taken to hospital by air ambulance. She remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
Officers closed Marsh Street at the junction of Trinity Street while emergency services attended the scene.
Police say their inquiries are continuing. Anyone with information is being urged to contact officers on 101.
