Witness call after multi vehicle crash
Two people were treated in hospital after the smash on Monday morning
Police are appealing for information and dashcam footage after a crash involving multiple vehicles in the Staffordshire Moorlands.
Officers were called to the Cellarhead Crossroads at 7.10am on Monday (26th January) following reports of a collision.
The crash involved a grey Ford transit van and a grey Volkswagen Polo. A white Vauxhall Vivaro van, which had broken down nearby, was also damaged.
The driver of one of the vehicles, a man, was assisted out of his vehicle by Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service. He, and a woman from another vehicle involved, were taken to hospital by ambulance. Emergency services have confirmed that neither person sustained life-threatening or life-changing injuries.
Police closed the road for several hours while an investigation was carried out and officers assisted with managing traffic around the scene.
Anyone with information, including witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the crash or the moments leading up to it, is urged to contact the police.
